Crystal Carey from Crystal Clean Residental and Commercial Services is our Event Committee Chair, she has volunteered to take on the role of coordinating our events, helping the board stay on track and signing up members as volunteers to carry out various parts of our events to ensure they are as amazing as our members!

Ambassador #1

The first ambassador to sign up is Kelly Stonerock from Bats and Traps, she shows up for our community in various ways already, being a chamber ambassador is right in her wheelhouse. Be sure to find her at events and say hi!

What Do Ambassador's Do?

Chamber Ambassador Benefit Program & Expectations

Objective: To recognize and reward our volunteer ambassadors with increased professional visibility and exclusive community status.

1. Identity & Recognition

  • Official Ambassador Lanyards: To be worn at all monthly gatherings and community events. This identifies them as a "go-to" person and a leader.
  • Digital Badge: A custom "Chamber Ambassador" graphic for their email signature and LinkedIn profile. (in progress)
  • Website Feature: A dedicated "Ambassador" page on goodrichchamber.org with their headshot, business name, and a link to their website. (will be added)

2. Enhanced Promotion

  • Social Media "Ambassador Spotlight": A recurring feature on the Facebook page where we highlight an ambassador, their business, and why they choose to serve the Goodrich-Atlas community.
  • Introductions: At the start of every monthly gathering, ambassadors are introduced first, giving them a natural platform to be recognized by all attendees.

3. Leadership & Access

  • Board Liaison Role: Ambassadors act as the "eyes and ears" of the membership, providing feedback directly to the board. This gives them a voice in the direction of the chamber.
  • Advanced Event Intel: Being the first to know about upcoming community events, sponsorship opportunities, or gathering locations before they are announced to the general membership.
  • Reserved Seating/Role: At community events where the Chamber has a booth or presence, ambassadors are the primary "faces" of the organization, putting them front-and-center with local residents.

4.  Expectations

  • Membership: Ambassadors are expected to keep their membership current, and must be a member to be an ambassador
  • Attendance: Ambassadors are expected to attend as many meetings, Gather in Goodrich events, and other events the Chamber participates in as possible, they are the face of the chamber after all.
  • Professionalism: Ambassadors will present themselves and their businesses in a professional manner at all times when representing the chamber and presenting themselves as an ambassador

5.  Roles at Meetings, Gather in Goodrich & Events

  • The Greeter: One ambassador stands at the door to welcome people.
  • The Connector: One ambassador is tasked with finding "new faces" and introducing them to at least two other people.
  • The Closer: One ambassador checks in with guests at the end to ask if they have questions about joining online.
  • Additional Roles: To be determined by the ambassador chair & ambassadors
